Chinese Chicken Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can chopped celery
1/2 cup onion
1/2 can milk (regular carton milk, measure in soup can)
Small can cashew nuts
1 large can chow mein noodles
Directions for Chinese Chicken Casserole
Turn oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together expect half the noodles
Pour chicken mixutre into casserole dish
Add remaining noodles
Bake for 45 minutes
This chinese chicken casserole recipe was really good. I browned the chicken in soy sauce and ginger before adding the other ingredients. I prefer putting the chinese noodles on top of the casserole instead of mixed in.

2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts - cooked and cubed
1 cup chicken broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup sliced almonds
1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and minced
1 (5 ounce) can crispy chow mein noodles
2/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup diced celery (optional)
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl, mix the chicken, soup, broth, almonds, chestnuts, noodles, milk, cheese, and celery
- Pour chicken mixture into casserole dish
- Bake for 45 minutes
