Mexican Pasta Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped and browned
1 pound lean ground beef, browned and drained
12 oz. tri-colored pasta, cooked 6 minutes and drained
1 medium can tomato sauce
1 small can corn
1 cup tomato sauce with bits or 8 oz. mild salsa
1 can green chilies, drained and chopped (optional)
1 small can chopped black olives (optional)
4 oz. processed Mexican style cheese, cubed
Directions for Mexican Pasta Casserole Recipe
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients
- Add the pasta mixture into a casserole dish
- Top with cheddar cheese
- Bake for 30 minutes
This was a great mexican pasta casserole recipe. I didn't have any black beans, so I used a whole can of corn. The combination of ingredients sounds strange, but tasted extremely good.
