Hamburger Macaroni Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (20 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
8 ounces elbow macaroni
Directions for Hamburger Macaroni Casserole Recipe
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- In a pan, cook the ground beef until browned
- Add in the onions, spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, ketchup, seasoning, worcestershire, salt, sugar, and pepper
- Simmer this beef mixture for 30 minutes
- In a pan, boil the macaroni following directions
- In a casserole dish, layer the macaroni noodles, beef mixture, and cheese
- Repeat the layers ending with cheese
- Bake for 20 minutes
I love this hamburger macaroni casserole recipe. I've been looking for a good hamburger macaroni casserole like my Grampa used to make and this fits the bill
