Ground Beef Macaroni Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
8 ounces elbow macaroni, uncooked
salt
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 medium bay leaf
1 can (14.5) ounces stewed tomatoes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions for Ground Beef Macaroni Casserole Recipe
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- Cook the macaroni following direciton on box
- In a pan, cook the onion, green pepper, garlic, butter, ground beef, tomatoes, bay leaf, pepper, and salt until ground beef is browned
- Simmer for 20 minutes
- Add in 1 1/2 cups until melted
- In a casserole dish add half of the macaroni
- Top with the ground beef mixture
- Add remaining macaroni
- Bake for 30 minutes
