Poppyseed Chicken Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
16 ounces sour cream
60 Ritz crackers, crushed
1 tablespoon poppy seed
1/2 cup butter, melted

- Turn oven on to 350 Degrees
- In a pan boil up water and add chicken
- Once cooked, chop into sliced pieces
- In a bowl, mix together the two cans of soup and sour cream
- Pour soup mixture into casserole dish
- Add chicken chopped chicken
- Take the ritz crackers and crush them up in a plastic bag. Add in poppy seeds
- Add the melted button on top of the chicken
- Shake crumbled ritz crackers on top of casserole dish
- Bake for 35 minutes
Very good poppy-seed casserole recipe! My family of picky eaters ate the entire thing. I cut the chicken into bite size pieces before I cooked it and added salt, pepper and garlic powder.

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - diced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 tablespoons dry sherry
salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces buttery round crackers, crushed
1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1/2 cup butter, melted
- Turn oven on to 350 degrees
- Add the sliced chicken breasts into a casserole dish
- In a bowl, mix together the soup, sour cream, and sherry
- Pour soup mixture into casserole
- Sprinkle on salt and pepper
- Mix the poopy seeds and crushed crackers and top the chicken
- Lastly add the melted butter into the casserole dish
- Cook for 40 minutes
